Import Your First Product to Your Shopify Store

Once you’ve generated and customized your product page, it’s time to import it to your Shopify store.

How to import your product:

  1. Go to your dashboard and click on the product you want to add.

  2. Click on Import to Shopify and select your store in Step 1.

  3. For Step 2, choose your import method:

Option A: Import into Product Description

  • The page content will be added to your product description
  • It will mimic your current theme’s styling
  • Quick and simple setup

Option B: Import into Theme Templates (Recommended)

  • Creates a dedicated product template
  • Preserves the full Orcai design
  • More control over the layout

  1. If your published theme is correctly shown, click Import product.

  2. If your theme is different, first click “My theme is different”, select the correct theme, then click Import product.

What happens after import

  • The product page is created in your Shopify store
  • You can preview it to make sure everything looks correct
  • Any future edits can be made in Orcai and re-imported

Tips for importing

  • Preview your page before publishing
  • Check both desktop and mobile views
  • Test all interactive elements (buttons, forms, etc.)
